Project overview

This project was the first to be delivered as part of Curtin University of Technology Park’s ‘Greater Curtin Master Plan’ to create a high quality landscaped shared space for future growth.

Scope of works

Scope of works

  • Establishment of a Stakeholder Management Register and Identification of the Stakeholders needs
  • Demolition of existing roads and car parks, redundant in-ground services and playing fields
  • Disposal of road waste and haulage services
  • Bulk earthworks and finished earthworks to development lots
  • Construction of temporary at-grade car parking
  • Hydraulics infrastructure including sewer, potable water, gas reticulation (high and medium pressure), stormwater drainage and non-boosted fire mains
  • Installation of mechanical infrastructure including chilled and heated water mains
  • Installation of electrical infrastructure including high voltage power, low voltage power, street lighting, decorative lighting and power to irrigation bores
  • Communications infrastructure including controls to street lighting and provision for CCTV / security
  • Installation of irrigation infrastructure including new bores and mainlines
  • High quality landscaping including exposed aggregate concrete paving, seating, public art and shelters
  • Road construction including high quality in-situ concrete carriageways within Main Street
  • Intersection works to the existing Hayman Road and Kent Street
  • Installation of signage (including electronic signage) and line marking
  • Installation of Public Transport Authority (PTA) on-street bus stops
