Road extension connecting Knock Way to Prinsep Road for Laing O'Rourke, a variation to the Armadale Road to North Lake Road Bridge project.
In early 2021, Civcon were engaged by Laing O’Rourke to undertake the Knock Way road extension works in Jandakot, which was a variation to Main Roads WA’s Armadale Road to North Lake Road Bridge Project. The extension connects the existing Knock Way to the southern end of the newly extended Prinsep Road.
The purpose of the Knock Way extension was to further reduce congestion on recently constructed surrounding roads (Verde Road and Prinsep Road), and to maintain connectivity and deliver more access into the Jandakot area. The road has also improved access to and from Cockburn Central Train Station by alleviating heavy congestion around the station car park during peak times, and in future will contribute to better access for the new Wave Park development, which will be built to the north side of the road.
