Project overview

Civcon were awarded the first of three stages in the Malaga Bus Depot Upgrades for Programmed Facility Management. This project involved the redesign and rearrangement of the current car parks with a reduction of overall parking from the current 149 car bays to approximately 105 bays post construction. The reduction is due to the need for more space in the main bus yard for the EV infrastructure meaning a larger overall footprint for the bus parking/charging area. The western carpark will have increased capacity by reclaiming existing landscaped areas and removing an old transportable office. The eastern carpark will be reduced overall to allow for the extension of the bus parking/charging area.
