Project overview

Civcon was engaged by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale to carry out road widening works along Medulla Road between SLK 0.67 and SLK 1.31. The project aimed to enhance road safety for users by reducing the likelihood of incidents and improving access for emergency vehicles within this section.

Scope of works

  • Demolition and removal of existing kerbs, pavements and services
  • Vegetation clearing and tree removal
  • Earthworks including subgrade preparation and embankment construction
  • Pavement construction (subbase and basecourse)
  • Drainage works including culvert extension and headwall construction
  • Kerbing, safety barriers and crossover reinstatement
  • Signage, line marking and installation of guideposts
